Student Support & Advice Team

The Advice Team are an independent service located within the Student Support and Advice Centre in the Minerva Building.  We offer a free confidential and impartial legal service to all students at the University of Lincoln.

Our advice covers a wide range of areas including housing, employment, university issues such as interruption and extenuating circumstances and much more.

As we are licensed by the Financial Conduct Authority, we are able to provide debt and money advice, and can also help with any welfare and disability benefit queries. For more information regarding the Financial Conduct Authority, please see below:

The Advice Team also administer the University of Lincoln Financial Assistance Funds and the advisers can help with any student funding queries.

If you are an International student and you require advice regarding your immigration status or visa, the International Advisers within the team are the only people within the University who can legally provide you with immigration advice.

Any information on the Student Services website which is provided by the Advice Team will be clearly marked so you know you are getting the most appropriate advice available.
